What won the race: Completing a sweep of the Ultimate Heart of America-sanctioned Bluegrass Nationals weekend, Michael Chilton of Salvisa, Ky., led from flag-to-flag to capture Saturday’s 40-lap feature at Richmond Raceway. He beat Tanner English by 0.351 of a second to register his second $5,000 victory in as many nights.

Key notes: Chilton turned back several challenges from English, the World of Outlaws regular who ran second from lap two until the finish. … Chilton’s triumph was the fifth of his career in Ultimate Heart of America action, making him the regional tour’s all-time winningest driver. Four of his victories have come this season at Richmond. … Chilton led all but two of the weekend’s 80 feature laps. … Dustin Linville, who entered the circuit’s season finale leading the standings by one point over teenager Tristan Chamberlain, finished third to clinch the series championship for the first time in his career. … Chamberlain started fourth — directly behind Linville — but never climbed higher and slipped to 11th in the final rundown. … James Rice, who won the 2022 Ultimate HoF title, finished fifth.
