Ferree took the checkers 2.298 seconds ahead of Miley for the $5,000 victory, his first of the season on the Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series and the eighth of his career — his first since earning $2,000 on Sept. 16, 2022 at Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, Pa.

The event honored Dave Kittey, of Latrobe, Pa., a journalist who had an immense impact on the local short track racing scene in the area.
