What won the race: Overtaking Kaede Loudy with an inside move exiting turn two on lap 21, fourth-starting Camaron Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., led the rest of the 40-lapper Saturday in the 10th annual Butch Shay Memorial at Richmond Raceway. Marlar's $7,500 Ultimate Heart of America Series victory marked the second of his career and his second of the month after earning $5,000 on July 5 at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Corbin, Ky.

Quotable: “I could’ve ran 10th. As long as I finished I would’ve been happy, cause I ain’t finished a race here in like five or six years,” Marlar said. “The car was good. It got dicey especially in lapped traffic man, it was sketchy, but it was fun. Good job to Kaede Loudy there. He’s really been running good and I really didn’t want to pass him for the lead. I was kinda cheerin’ for him a little bit.”
