Blair Nothdurft won at Wagner to complete a weekend sweep.
What won the race: Retaking the lead from Ben Sukup on lap 27, third-starting Blair Nothdurft of Renner, S.D., led the rest of Saturday's 34-lap Randy Meiers Memorial at Wagner Speedway. Nothdurft led three times for 10 laps (10, 19, 27-34) to secure the $1,500 victory, notching his second Repairable Vehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series triumph of the weekend and 10th of his career, moving him into sole possession of third on the tour's all-time list.
Key notes: Fifth-starting Corey Zeitner grabbed second from Trevor Anderson on lap 31 and took the checkers a distant 8.818 seconds behind Nothdurft. ... Sukup, of Norfolk, Neb., led four times for 23 laps (1, 3-9, 11-18, 20-26) before slipping as low as fifth on lap 30 and rebounding to third. ... Anderson, of Watertown, S.D., led the second lap before settling for fourth. ... There were seven lead changes among Sukup, Anderson and Nothdurft. ... The race was slowed by six cautions, the first coming on lap three for Lane Brenden, who did not continue. ... Colby Klaassen brought out the second stoppage on lap nine before pulling off. ...
