Jesse Stovall enjoys victory lane after his victory at Monett.
What won the race: Polesitter Jesse Stovall of Billings, Mo., pocketed $2,000 and collected his first MARS DIRTcar Series victory of 2015. Fellow Missouri drivers Will Vaught of Crane and Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon rounded out the podium.
Key notes: Stovall also won a weekly race in Monett's previous racing program. ... Monett hosted the first of a two-race weekend for the Missouri-based tour that's scheduled to continue Saturday at Springfield (Mo.) Raceawy. ... Andy's Frozen Custard was the event's presenting sponsor.
