What won the race: After slipping back on the first lap, eighth-starting Gregg Satterlee of Indiana, Pa., rallied forward to overtake Steve Casebolt of Richmond, Ind., on the 28th of 40 laps and went on to a straightaway victory in Bedford Speedway's Johnny Grum Tribute.
Key notes: Polesitter D.J. Troutman of Hyndman, Pa., led the first eight circuits before Casebolt took command. ... Satterlee swept the night's action, setting fast time, winning his heat race and claiming the $4,000 winner's check. ... The feature was slowed by cautions on laps 15, 17 and 29. ... Satterlee's fast qualifying time of 18.860 seconds was less than one tenth of a second off Scott Bloomquist's track record time. ... Dylan Yoder, who qualified second fastest overall, scratched for the evening with mechanical troubles. ... Bedford also plans to run on Memorial Day with Limited Late Models, sprints, modifieds and other divisions in action (no Super Late Models). ... The track opens the seventh annual Appalachian Mountain Speedweek on May 29.
