Notes: Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competitors invade Lernerville Speedway for the three-day 18th annual Firecracker 100. … The field will be split into two groups by pill draw Thursday and Friday, featuring a complete show for each half culminating with twin 25-lap, $5,000-to-win semifeatures, nightly. The combined points from both prelim nights will set the lineup for Saturday’s heat races which precede consolations and the 100-lap, $50,000-to-win main event. … Series points leader Ricky Thornton Jr. of Chandler, Ariz., won last year’s $50,000 Firecracker 100 after securing a $5,000 prelim. … Tim McCreadie of Watertown, N.Y., won 2022’s $50,000 top prize before also adding one of last year’s $5,000 semifeatures. … Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga., and Max Blair of Centerville, Pa., each won a $5,000 prelim last year. Blair is a three-time Bill Emig Memorial winner on the undercard to the Firecracker. … Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., topped both of 2022’s $6,000 prelims. … RUSH Crate Late Models are on the undercard nightly contesting its $20,000-to-win Bill Emig Memorial in Saturday’s 50-lap main event.
