Thursday rain forced the postponement of this evening's 42nd annual Herald & Review 100 at Macon (Ill.) Speedway. The $5,000-to-win DIRTcar Summer Nationals event for Super Late Models has been rescheduled for Sept. 1.

After a fourth consecutive day off, including for two race cancellations and the tour's first rainout, Summer Naitonals action is scheduled to resume Friday with a $10,000-to-win event at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway. Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., is leading the points in chasing his fifth series championship.
