What won the race: Third-starting Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb., picked up $3,500 Malvern Bank Series victory on Saturday night at Adams County Speedway in the Ray Houck Memorial. Finishing ahead of Ben Schaller and Charlie McKenna, Berck tallied his series-leading 89th Malvern Bank win.
Key notes: The Malvern Bank Series made its third attempt to visit Adams County Speedway this season. A pair of May dates were canceled. … It was scheduled as the second night of the tour’s weekend doubleheader, but Friday’s event at Lakeside Speedway rained out. … Saturday’s winner’s purse was increased from $3,000 to $3,500 thanks to 5 Star Trucking and Jeremy Houck. … It’s the 16th time the Malvern Bank Series has visited Adams County.
