What won the race: Leading 40 laps, polesitter Banjo Duke of Manning, S.C., earned his first career Ultimate Southeast Series victory Saturday at Sumter Speedway collecting $5,000.
Key notes: Corey Gordon of Charlotte, N.C., finished in the runner-up position, 0.375 seconds behind Duke. ... Ultimate Southeast Series officials fought threatening weather conditions all night, as they moved the feature ahead in the program to beat an incoming storm, after qualifying was briefly delayed earlier in the evening. ... Saturday's feature, the tour's first visit to Sumter, was slowed by several multi-car incidents in the opening laps and lasted 46 minutes, with 10 competitors completing all 40 circuits.
