What won the race: Second-starting Taylor Scheffler of Waukesha, Wis., topped Friday's 15-car field to be crowned King of the Northwoods, earning $2,500 at Langlade County Speedway. Scheffler secured his second Wabam Dirt Kings Tour victory of the season and sixth of his career.
Key notes: Scheffler's previous Dirt Kings triumph this season came July 27 at Shawano (Wis.) Speedway. ... Third-starting Lukas Postl improved to grab the runner-up spot. ...
