What won the race: R.J. Conley of Wheelersburg, Ohio, set fast time, won his heat race and led every lap of Friday night's AMRA/STARS Late Model Alliance-sanctioned Charlie Floyd Benefit event at his hometown track.
Key notes: Conley started from the pole position and dominated from start-to-finish. ... The race was run in memory of Charlie Floyd of Wheelersburg, Ohio, who succumbed four days to injuries sustained in a fiery accident at the track on April 15. ... Fund raisers were held throughout the event to benefit the Floyd family.
