What won the race: Keeping Luke Goedert at bay as he maneuvered through lapped traffic, second-starting Jeff Larson of Freeport, Ill., captured his second Hoker Trucking Series victory Friday at Fayette County Speedway. Larson led all the way in pocketing $3,000.
Key notes: The win was his second series victory of the season after winning in late May at Maquoketa (IA) Speedway. ... Gabe Umbarger of Garner, Iowa, drew the first caution of the race on lap 16 after getting spun around on the backstretch. ... Kay won Thursday's event at Cresco (Iowa) Speedway.
On the move: Todd Cooney of Des Moines, Iowa, started 25th and finished 17th.
