What won the race: Powering under race-long leader Shane Hebert exiting turn four on lap 20, second-starting B.J. Robinson of Bossier City, La., led the rest of Friday's 40-lap First Responders Night at 67 Speedway of Texarkana. Robinson sped to the $5,000 payday by 1.154 seconds over third-starting Jon Mitchell, earning his third Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory of the season and the sixth of his career.
Quotable: “I don’t know necessarily that it’s hitting our stride, finally just had some stuff go our way,” Robinson said. “(We’ve) been working hard all year, there’s several races we feel like we should’ve won and didn’t capitalize. Either something broke or the driver made a stupid mistake … I had to bide my time (in passing Shane Hebert) … I could see that Hebert was getting tight. I just knew I had to get the right opportunity or caution.”
